Press Release: CAAZ approves and grants Foreign Operator Permits to FlySafAir and Cemair
The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) has approved applications and granted Foreign Operator Permits (FOPs) to FlySafair and Cemair airlines.
The FOPs authorize the respective South African registered airlines to operate passenger and cargo operations in and outbound Harare and Victoria Falls.
CAAZ ICVM 2023 AUDIT RESULT

Harare, Zimbabwe | The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) wishes to advise all esteemed stakeholders that it successfully completed the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Audit known as the ICAO Coordinated Validation Mission (ICVM) on the 28th of June 2023, achieving an Effective Implementation (EI) score of 69.09%, up from 53.14% attained in the 2019 full scope audit. This is above the global average of 67% and above the average for sub-Saharan Africa of about 58%.
