02 September 2026, | Harare, Zimbabwe | The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) Management and Staff are pleased to welcome Mr Kudakwashe Chimuti who was appointed to the CAAZ Board of Directors as a Board Member with effect from 04 August 2026.
Mr Chimuti is a results-oriented professional who leverages experience, shared values, and teamwork to drive organisational growth and development. He possesses broad based competencies in the areas of Governance and Strategic Oversight, Nuclear Security including Radiation Safety in Aviation, Risk Management, Leadership and Management, Public Service and Accountability and, Technical and Commercial acumen spanning over two decades.
He is a holder of a Master of Science Degree in Medical Physics (Radiation Protection) from the National University of Science and Technology, Master of Commerce Degree in Strategic Management from Great Zimbabwe University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and Statistics from the University of Zimbabwe.
CAAZ looks forward to drawing on Mr Chimuti’s extensive knowledge, strategic insight, and proven expertise as a corporate leader and technocrat, and invites all applicable aviation stakeholders to join the Authority in warmly congratulating him on his appointment while wishing him every success in his new role.
